A familiar corner. A new reason to stop.

At Hennepin and 34th, this little brick building has been part of the neighborhood’s everyday life for decades. Before Lake&Sky, there was Von’s Superette. Later, Dunn Brothers. Groceries, coffee. A reason to walk down the block.

We’re glad to be putting the coffee on again.

Lake&Sky takes its cues from the Minneapolis we love: blue water, wide skies, independent spirits, and the warmth people bring to a long winter. We’re making a place for good coffee and unhurried company. Somewhere to meet before a walk, settle in when it’s cold, or stop by often enough that we get to know your order.

This corner had a life long before us. As we make it our own, we want to keep what matters: a door that opens onto the neighborhood, and a reason for the people around it to come through.
