Our Story
After twenty years of calling Minnesota home, and raising our family in the coolest of Cities in the US, we wanted to build something that contributed to life here. Lake&Sky began with a simple idea: make exceptional coffee, take good care of people, and create a place they’d want to return to.
Lake&Sky
Our name comes from the things that make this place feel like home - the lakes, the open skies, and the everyday possibility of getting outside. That same feeling shapes what we’re building indoors: a welcoming neighborhood coffeehouse, with thoughtful food, room for conversation, and a little time to yourself if that’s what you came for. We take the coffee seriously. How you enjoy it is up to you.
Our Spot in Uptown
Starting with our first café in Uptown, we want Lake&Sky to become part of the ordinary, good moments in people’s lives. A familiar stop. A place to meet. Along the way, we’re building opportunities for local artists and makers, and laying the groundwork for the Lake&Sky Conservancy to support Minnesota’s natural spaces. It’s our way of caring for the place that brought us here.
